Abstract:   (23 Views)
Exchange rate fluctuations are considered one of the most important factors affecting economic fluctuations in countries. The identification of factors affecting exchange rate fluctuations has also been addressed in economic literature. Despite exchange rate fluctuations in Afghanistan, the present study aims to identify the factors affecting these fluctuations. Therefore, the factors affecting exchange rate fluctuations have been examined through the participation of experts and currency exchange professionals in the province of ghazni. These studies were library-based and the research method was quantitative and field-based, with practical objectives. The data collection method was a descriptive survey. The validity measurement tools in this study were based on content validity and logical validity. To confirm the reliability and normality of the data, the Cronbach's alpha test was used, and the SPSS-26 software was used for data description, quantitative data analysis. Finally, the T-test and Friedman test were used for ranking. The results of the study show that the political factor with an average of 3.73 is one of the most important factors affecting exchange market fluctuations. The social factor with an average of 3.04, the legal factor with an average of 1.68, and the economic factor with an average of 1.6, respectively, form the next ranks of factors affecting exchange market fluctuations in Afghanistan. Therefore, economic policymakers in Afghanistan should focus on political and social factors, along with laws and monetary and financial discipline, and reforming the business environment to reduce exchange rate fluctuations.
